Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Coatly. By buying a lookbook you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.

What you are buying

A one-time purchase of a digital PDF containing AI-generated images of your dog rendered in a set of grooming styles, plus a link to view and re-download that PDF. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

What the images are

Every image is generated by an AI model from the photo you upload. They are visual references intended to help you describe a cut to a groomer.

• They are not photographs of a haircut your dog has actually had.
• They are not a promise that any groomer can or will reproduce the result. Coat type, condition, regrowth and the groomer’s own judgement all affect what is achievable.
• Clipper guard and blade numbers in the spec sheet are general guidance. Your groomer’s assessment of your dog takes precedence over anything we print.

Your photo

You must own the photo you upload or have permission to use it. Do not upload photos of people, or of animals that are not yours. We may refuse or remove any upload.

Payment

Payments are processed by Polar, acting as Merchant of Record. Polar handles the transaction, applicable taxes and your card details; we never see your card number. Your statement will show Polar.

Delivery

Lookbooks are delivered by email, normally within about five minutes and in all cases within 24 hours. If generation fails we will tell you and refund you.

Acceptable use

• One free preview per session. Automated or repeated attempts to obtain free generations may be blocked.
• Do not resell, redistribute or present the generated images as photographs of a real haircut.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the day you buy.
